c++ – Vim autocomplete how to reduce tooltip size

Question:

I have YouCompleteMe (on clang ). Autocompletion leaves a panel with a list of functions and arguments. It feels good. I am writing in c ++ .

The problem is that if there are many arguments, then they go off the edge of the screen.

I also don’t understand how, for example, to look at the definition of a function with arguments, so as not to go into the documentation all the time.

EDIT: I can look at my functions by pressing control + ] , but what to do, for example, with STL or third-party libraries?

Answer:

Open the YouCompleteMe repository , look for it, find issue 166 , which says to set the pumheight standard vim property. :help pumheight says this is what you need.
