linux – Select port for modem

Question:

I am trying to use the Gnome PPP program to set up a connection through my modem. The problem is that you need to select the port of your modem, but it is not in the list and is not defined by default. You can see the real port in the Modem Manager GUI window, that is, ttyACM0 , but there is no such port in the GPPP settings. I heard that something needs to be moved somewhere, but I didn't understand what's what.

Modem model: UML 290

Answer:

The ln command makes a link. Has the form ln <На что ссылаемся> <Файл-ссылка> or something like that. The ln -s /dev/ttyACM0 /dev/modem command helped me.
