I'm having problems importing projects in VS 2015. The project was made in a previous version of the IDE and when I import it, it doesn't come with correctly added components, needing to add one by one.
Is this correct or do you have to follow some specification in the export to embed everything together?
Is there any standard procedure/good practice for such a task?
When the import doesn't do everything itself, it can mean that the project descriptor files aren't exactly as the interpreter would expect or even aren't in the correct paths, in the case of multiple modules. I've had numerous problems importing projects and there is always a manual rework. I've also had to recreate projects from scratch and insert modules in more critical cases.
So don't be alarmed, as the path is not always flawless when importing projects.
