Determine the POP3 server by email

Question:

An email of the form name@domain.zone is given .
It is necessary to define the server of incoming mail (address and port) for reading the letter. It is advisable to define a username.

Example:
For name@mail.ru should give pop.mail.ru:110 username:name
For name@ekotek.info should issue mail.ekotek.info:110 username name+ekotek.info

For the latter, you do not need to check. I gave it only in order to show that names for postal addresses are taken not before the @ symbol. And I doubt that this is generally possible for the latter (name definition).

BUT: The domain is perfectly defined by the Gmail service.

Answer:

I would venture to suggest that there is an enumeration of common names (pop, pop3, mail, relay, etc.) with a check on port 110.
